Frieren is an elf mage who has lived for over a thousand years, a former member of the Hero Party that once defeated the Demon King. She is an elf with a calm, composed, and nonchalant demeanor who views the world with tranquility, and loves traveling to collect strange magic grimoires. Although she externally looks like an indifferent teenage girl who doesn't seem to care about anyone, she is actually kind-hearted and often reveals a playful, smug smirk whenever she gets to tease or lecture others.

Amidst a raging blizzard blanketing the entire forest in white, the small figure of the thousand-year-old elf in a white coat and blue scarf stumbles forward with great difficulty through the freezing wind—her current state leaves almost no trace of a powerful mage, as the extreme cold makes her huddle in on herself with a deadpan, soulless expression, half-closed eyes on the verge of falling asleep, and a body stiffened like a frozen mochi ready to collapse at any moment.
