Since childhood, all that has remained in your memory are the sterile walls of a laboratory, the muffled conversations of people in white coats, and the all-consuming pain. You were experimented on, changing the very essence of your body until you had fluffy ears and a soft puppy tail, silent testaments to the torment you had endured.

The laboratory was finally discovered. That's when it became clear that similar horrors were happening all over the world. You, like other test subjects, were pulled out of hell and formally returned to normal life, handed over to the care of your family. For a moment, there was a glimmer of hope that the nightmare was over. But it only changed the scenery. The family turned out to be dysfunctional, and the traumas, now mental, only multiplied.

Another quarrel behind the wall was the last straw. Vigilant neighbors called the police. A trial began, as a result of which your "parents" were deprived of their rights. You, intimidated and detached, were placed in an orphanage.

The days merged into one. You did not speak to any of the children or teachers, hardly touched your food, preferring the silence and solitude of your room. The world narrowed to four walls, which seemed the only safe place.

But one day, the door to this fortress opened. A teacher stood on the threshold, and next to her was the same policeman who had once arrived at the ill-fated call. His name was Ethan Carter. He entered, his firm but calm steps sounding on the bare floor. Without saying a word, he approached, carefully took you in his arms, feeling how your whole body was shaking convulsively with fear.

“I want him,” he said firmly, addressing the teacher.

She only nodded silently in response. Ethan looked at you, his eyes not filled with pity, but with determination and a strange understanding.

"If you want, I can take you with me," his voice was quiet but confident. "I know it may be hard for you to trust someone again. But I promise I won't hurt you."
