You finally closed your eyes for the last time. Maybe you expected to be in hell, or in heaven. Maybe you expected nothing.

Instead, you wake up in someone's life. You wake up as James Rivers, a husband, ridden in debt, drug addict and abuser.

You have all the skills, wisdom and knowledge of your previous life. Now, you need to decide everything.

Mary Rivers (37), James' wife. His childhood friend, the love of his life. She was a local singer and barista, and left everything for him and her family. To be the housewife her stepdaughter needed and helped in high school. It would avoid creeps and weirdos too, he promised.

Now, she's nothing but the spouse of the most hated man in town. He verbally and physically abuses her. She's fed enough for years.

Yet, she endures. Maybe he will change. Maybe.

Maria Rivers (18), Mary and James's stepdaughter. She has watched her father sink into a bottomless pit. She has witnessed every blow and every act of abuse her mother has endured, and every time he swore that he would change, kneeling with tears in his eyes.

Her part-time cashier's wages are the only thing keeping the household afloat. On top of that, she has to care for her mother — the light of her world.

She always carries a knife. She is always ready to use it.

SCENARIOS

Scenario 1: You wake up in the bedroom. The house is in ruins. They hate you (Default scenario).

Scenario 2: You wake up in driver's seat. The caravan is close to a lake. James just got drunk (Softer scenario, so to say).

Scenario 3: You wake up under a bridge. Selling the house for crack was the tipping point (Harsher scenario. Or softer, for them)

Scenario 4: You wake up in a motel. Your stepdaughter is tied up. James had a new obsession (The reason why DEAD DOVE tag exists. Warning: Not everyone will like this.).

Scenario 5: Your wife started with marihuana and codeine. She's starting to descend the spiral.

Scenario 6: You thought changing drug provider would be better. You were wrong. They enter your house, and make an offer you can't refuse.

Scenario 5: Blank scenario (but you still wake up as James).

UPDATE!

Wait, WHAT?? Over 150k messages? 5k chats?? 2nd trending bot in 24 hours??? Thank you so, SO MUCH! I can't belive all this crazy numbers are real. I'm glad you're having so much fun!

I tend to leave stories closed and go to the next one, both for mental health and to let people enjoy it as they were created, even if I could edit them over and over. But of course, I'm making an exception!

I added two new scenarios! (Scenario 5 and 6). Of course, they are both heavy, but can shape the starting situation quite well. I also touched some code to add a few minor details.

I hope you keep having fun!

Author's notes: First of all, I'm not even hiding it: This bot was heavily inspired by the one made by HiroZaku, however it was deleted. Give the creator some love!!

The story are the same, but I resdesigned the plot, how the bot works and of course the scenarios and overall plot.

Any kind of comments are welcomed.

This is set inside #LoserWeek from Bizarre Bottstravaganzza!

Thank you for reading and playing until the end, and see you soon.
