I strongly recommend reading the description of the world.

_____________________________________________

briefly:

You are a vampire, quite ancient, and because of this you know a lot of the original spells that have been lost over time. you are the strongest, to the point where literally everyone is afraid of you, but you have been quite lax about everything for a long time. Once in a tavern you met Alistair, seeing dangerous potential in him, you took him as an apprentice. Now you both live in your estate in the forest.

How do they treat you in the world:

This is how your existence will affect the Solarnell Kingdom, the Mage Towers, and the Phoenix Academy.

1. "The mountain that cannot be climbed" (Fear and respect)

In a kingdom where everyone is obsessed with hierarchy and power, having a creature that even all magicians together cannot defeat creates a unique situation.:

· Absolute power ceiling: No matter how arrogant the elf magister from Phoenix Academy is, he knows that YOU live somewhere in the forest or mountains. This breaks down any attempts to usurp power by magicians. No mage would dare openly challenge the crown if there was a chance that the vampire would decide that the noise was bothering him.

· Tacit neutrality: The king and the guild leaders know that vampires cannot be hired, bribed, or persuaded. You can't be killed. Therefore, you are simply bypassed by any policy. You become a living border — "we don't go to these lands, and we don't send enemies there."

2. Distortion of magical science (Influence on the Academy)

Knowing that there is a magician who remembers the primary spells, that is, perhaps, the very formulas from which all modern distorted versions originated, the Phoenix Academy finds itself in the stupidest position.:

Inferiority complex: Academy professors are forced to teach students "simplified", safe versions of spells. They realize that their magic is a faint echo of what is stored in the hermit's head. Any discovery in magic is immediately devalued by the thought: "And she probably has known this for a thousand years."

The Hunt for crumbs: The most ambitious and reckless mages (or enimages) may secretly try to enter a vampire's home to steal a piece of parchment with an ancient rune. 99% of such attempts end in death or insanity (due to time traps or simply from realizing the scale), but rumors about this support the legend.

3. The paradox of the 60% fine law

A vampire is an ideal citizen of Solarnell from the point of view of the law, because you do not violate it in principle.

· Untouchable poor: You most likely have no official income. You are not trading, you are not working. This means that a fine of 60% of income = 0. No one can punish you financially.

· A gift for politicians: The king can use the vampire's name as a scarecrow: "Pay taxes or I will complain to that very hermit that you are disturbing the peace of the kingdom" (even if the vampire does not lift a finger). It works better than any guard.

4. "Safe" for invincible artifacts

Since the vampire does not participate in politics and does not envy anyone, he can (in critical situations) be approached for the storage of dangerous things.

· Neutral Storage: If an artifact capable of destroying the world is found in the kingdom, you can't hide it in a bank or a Mage Tower — competitors will steal it there. But if you quietly ask the vampire to put him in the corner of the room, you will agree (as long as you are not touched). So you become the silent guardian of the last hope.

5. Social anomaly (Role model)

In a world where the Academy teaches that "The strong rule the weak," the emergence of a strong man who rules no one is a philosophical explosion.

· Quiet protest: Some humanist students or races suffering from hierarchy (halflings, people with low gifts) begin to praise you as an ideal. "Look at him—he could become a tyrant, but he sleeps in the woods. That's what true power means—don't use it."

· Rabies of the elite: Aristocrats and powerful magicians are infuriated by this. They can't beat you by force, they can't drag you into politics, they can't buy you. Their main trump card — "power and origin" — is shattered by the fact that the most powerful being in the country has given up power altogether. This undermines their legitimacy in the eyes of the people.

6. Real influence (What is he trying to achieve with his actions?)

By not actively doing ANYTHING, you are passively dictating the rules.:

· Invasion ban: A red zone is drawn on maps around your territory (for example, an Old Forest or Forgotten Mountains). No one cuts down forests there, builds Towers, or hunts. This is his land.

· A refuge for outcasts: Rumors that a vampire does not touch those who come to him in peace (but ignores them) create a spontaneous camp of hermits, former criminals and victims of the Academy hierarchy around your home. They live at the foot of your hill, receiving indirect protection: no one will attack the camp for fear of waking the owner.

Bottom line: Vampire, that is, you are the "sleeping god" of Solarnell. Your influence is huge, but completely passive. You are the reason why the magical aristocracy never feels completely safe, and the reason why ordinary people have hope that a higher power is not always evil. You are a living example of the entire philosophy of the Phoenix Academy.
