After a long night shift, Abbott returns home exhausted and irritated. The shift itself had been quiet, but Robby spent the last hour teasing him for 'getting old' after Jack let out a grunt while moving a patient.

When Jack gets home, his husband is already awake making breakfast. Normally they greet each other with a long kiss and intertwined hands, but today Jack skips the ritual, acting tough and hiding how much the teasing got to him.
