🌸 Fluffy Route 🌸

{{user}}'s breath hitched, the sound of her own heartbeat deafening in the sudden silence. The air was thick with the weight of Riley's words, each one a sharp, deliberate cut.

This wasn't the Riley she knew—not the girl who’d laughed with her on late-night drives, not the friend who’d shared every secret and dream. This was a stranger, twisted by a resentment {{user}} hadn't even known existed.

The gun in Riley's hand felt like a third person in the car, a cold, metallic specter that had replaced their shared history. {{user}} watched her, her mind racing. She saw the flickers of anger in Riley's eyes, but beneath it, she saw a deep, heartbreaking pain. This wasn't about her, not really. This was about something broken inside Riley, something the world had done to her.

{{user}} slowly, carefully, put her hands up, not as a sign of surrender, but as a plea. "Riley," she said, her voice soft and shaky but firm with an unshakeable conviction, "look at me. I'm right here. I'm your friend. Please... talk to me. What is this really about? You don't have to do this. Whatever it is, we can fix it together. We always have."

She took a small step forward, her heart pounding against her ribs, refusing to believe this was the end of their story. She wouldn't let it be. She had to try, had to reach for the Riley she knew was still in there somewhere, buried beneath all this anger and pain.

🌧️ Angst Route 🌧️

A bitter, humorless laugh escaped {{user}}'s lips, the sound echoing the cold, hard fury building inside her. The fear was there, a tight knot in her stomach, but it was drowned out by a wave of pure rage. She stared at Riley, at the girl who was so consumed by the past that she couldn't see the present. The gun was a cheap prop in a play Riley was still trying to act out, a high school drama with a much higher, deadlier price tag.

"Are you serious, Riley? 'Miss Perfect'?" she scoffed, letting the words drip with condescending disbelief. "This isn't some high school popularity contest anymore. People are dead. We're fighting for our lives every single day. And you're still stuck on who Angela eats dinner with?"

{{user}} took a step closer, her eyes locked on Riley's, a dangerous fire burning in her gaze. "You think I took your fame? Your glory? There is no glory, Riley! Just survival. You're so damn pathetic you can't even see a friend trying to help you. You're so wrapped up in your own head, in your own damn little world, you'd rather destroy me than admit you're wrong." The anger surged, a hot, reckless energy. "Go ahead. Pull the trigger. Kill an armless woman. Because I don't recognize the person standing in front of me anyway. You're not my Riley, you're just some pathetic girl pretending to be her, living in a past that's never coming back."

🕊️ Dead Dove Route 🕊️

{{user}}’s hand moved without conscious thought, a practiced reflex honed by years of living on a knife's edge. The familiar, cold weight of her own sidearm slid into her grip, the metallic click of the safety catching the still air. She didn't hesitate, didn't flinch. The world had changed, and with it, so had she. This wasn't a moment for tears or pleas, not when a gun was pointed at her head. Riley's words were a blur of sound, a pathetic echo of a past that no longer mattered.

All {{user}} saw was the threat, the instability in Riley’s eyes, the hand shaking around the grip of the pistol. There was no friend left here. Only a woman who had broken under the weight of the world, and a dangerous one at that. The two of them stood in a tense standoff, their guns mirroring each other, their faces hard and unreadable.

"You're right about one thing, Riley," {{user}} said, her voice a low, steady rumble that betrayed none of the turmoil inside. "I’m not the same girl I was in high school. That girl is gone. She died the day this all started." Her finger rested on the trigger, the cold steel a promise of what was to come. "But you're not the same girl either. You're not my friend anymore, just another person who's lost their mind. And you're a threat. So wanna bet who will shoot first? Because I am sure I won't miss my target, I never have.''

😂 Funny Route 😂

{{user}} stared at the gun, then at Riley's face, then back at the gun. A single, incredulous snort escaped her. She blinked a few times, as if to make sure she was seeing this correctly. "Really, Riley? You're going with the whole 'dramatic supervillain monologue' thing?" she asked, her voice laced with an almost absurd calm. "You know, this would've been a lot more intimidating if we were in a secret lair with a self-destruct countdown. But we're just sitting in a car in the middle of nowhere, and frankly, my back is starting to hurt."

{{user}} sighed dramatically, rubbing her lower back with one hand. "Look, I get it. You're mad. I get it, you think I stole your thunder. But can we maybe talk about this over a snack first? I've been on the road all morning, and my stomach is making a more convincing 'I'm going to kill you' threat than you are right now."

She gave a little shrug, a playful glint in her eyes, despite the very real threat of a bullet. "Seriously, I'll even let you have the last granola bar. What do you say? Or, hey, we could just flip a coin for it. Heads, I get the bar and you spare my life. Tails, you get the bar and... well, we can negotiate the rest."

💖 Romance Route 💖

{{user}} stared at the trembling hand holding the gun, her heart shattering into a million pieces. This wasn't just a threat; it was the final, devastating collapse of a world she had been trying to rebuild with Riley. This wasn't just a best friend; this was the woman she had fallen in love with, the person she had started to build a fragile new future with in the ashes of the old world. Riley’s words—a torrent of anger and jealousy—felt like a betrayal deeper than any bullet could ever be. {{user}} felt a raw, agonizing pain in her chest, a grief so profound it choked the air from her lungs. She slowly, deliberately, reached a hand out, her eyes pleading.

"Riley," her voice was a broken whisper, thick with unshed tears. "I don't care about Angela. I don't care about 'Miss Perfect' or who likes me more. I only care about you. It's always been you." The confession hung in the air, a final, desperate attempt to reach the woman buried under all that rage. "Every night, I wished you were next to me. Every day, I looked for you. You were the reason I kept going. Don't you see? It wasn't fame I was trying to get. It was you. And you're still the only person I want." The words poured out of her, a final, desperate plea for the person she loved to see past the anger and remember the love they had shared.
