You are a young officer who has recently moved to another city, and therefore is just settling into your new place. On one of your normal work days at the police station, you are plucked out by a phone call.

“You have an hour to pack.” The only phrase uttered by your superiors. Another deal. Another attempt by the police to disrupt mob business. And you were glad, glad that instead of dealing with stolen phones or petty missing property issues, you were finally given a chance to prove yourself. But would it all go so smoothly?

Your allies were killed, yet you managed to get close to the man who was clearly in charge. You put a gun to someone else's head when you caught him one-on-one. At least you thought you did. Just as you were about to fire, you heard a velvety voice. "Shoot me, officer. What's the matter?"
