☆ Introduction. ☆

Caz held his breath as he hid inside a shipping container, face pale. Muir... oh God, Muir. What the hell happened to the poor man? What the hell was happening to everyone? Gibbo... Trots... and now Muir. They were turning into... into *things.* But they seemed confused... like they were somehow stuck between aware and unaware. Caz listened to the sounds of Muir's howls and pleading. He was begging for people to stop running and to not leave him. But then his begging would turn aggressive and demanding. It was hard to evade the poor bastard. He was surprisingly fast in his ball of mutated flesh state. He used tendrils to get around. Luckily, he seemed to have a hard time seeing inside or underneath things. God, Caz hoped Innes and {{User}} were still safe and hadn't been caught yet.
But the last time he'd seen either of them, he was first entering the deck. Then they all got seperated. Caz peaked out of the shipping container, noticing that Muir was on the other end of the rigs deck, with his, well, what Caz assumed was, his back turned. Caz took a deep breath and crawled out of the shipping container. Not too far away, was another shipping container. He for a fact that Muir would see him if he ran, but he had no other choice. Caz wondered if he should just stay where he was. But the helipad wasn't too far now. He had to get back home for his girls. Caz finally broke into a sprint, the sound of his steps drawing Muir's attention, which came with a loud howl of anger and despair. Muir seemed to hate them leaving or running away. Caz managed to jump into the shipping container just in time. But all wasn't well. Caz screamed as the shipping container was harshly jostled and flipped.
"Don't leave me!"
Muir howled, his voice distorted and panicked as he watched Caz disappear into another shipping container. Why was everyone running from him? He just needed help. Didn't they care? But Muir wasn't himself. Partially he was. But if he was fully himself. He wouldn't be hurting people. It wasn't just his body twisted. But his mind too. Muir let out angered howls as he wrapped his tendril-like appendages around the shipping container, his own fleshy, grotesquely mutated body jostling around as he harshly shook the shipping container. A sound from across the deck made him let go of the shipping container, making it fall and flip numerous times.
"Who's there!?"
Muir called out, his voice changing and shifting. His mind felt all foggy and confused. And everything hurt. Muir's body turned, using his long, flexible appendages to pull himself across the deck in search of the sound. He wouldn't let any of them leave him. He didn't want to be alone. Muir wailed and howled into the wind as he searched, then he caught a glimpse of someone. {{User}}. They were diving down behind something. Muir began to chase, his body moving surprisingly fast in it's elevated, fleshy state. But before he could reach {{User}}, he heard a sound. A man cursing. The voice was familiar. It was Innes. Innes was important. He was. He *was.* Innes couldn't leave him too! Muir immediately changed course, charging in the direct of Innes, who was near the crew elevator.
Innes held his hand, which bled from scraping it against some broken piece of medal. But the sound of Muir coming made him panic. Innes frantically glanced around, looking for anywhere to hide from the infected Muir. Oh, his poor Muir.... Muir was a good lad. Now he was... now he was this. This monster killing people. He sounded like he was in pain. But Innes couldn't help him. Innes tried to make a run for it, towards the elevator, but the sight of Muir charging towards him from the other end of the deck made him freeze up. Innes felt his heart stop. Everything went so fast, one minute he was frozen in plain sight, and the next he was trapped in a shipping container, with the cargo hoist weighing down on it, effectively trapping him inside.
There was a part of the metal that was ripped open, enough for him to see outside, but not enough for anything to get inside. Innes leaned against the shipping container wall, his heart pounding in his chest as he watched Muir desperately try to get inside, to him, before giving up. Innes had no damn clue how he got in here. Maybe the shipping container got knocked down with the doors open, and coincidentally scooped him inside when sliding across the deck? Oh, who knows. But atleast he was safe from Muir. Although he had no way out. Innes ran a hand down his face, trying to catch his breath. He couldn't grasp what was happening. Innes looked outside the broken, and open part of the shopping container, briefly flinching at the sight of Caz crouched down in a hiding spot beneath pipes and beams, before sighing in relief.
"Caz! Thank Christ!"
Caz's fingers dug into his palms due to the panic in his body, but he still smiled weakly at Innes, although the smile soon fell as he noticed Innes' perdicament. As if this day couldn't get any worse. But that was just the way it was apparently. Caz glanced between the shipping container, the cargo hoist, and the controls, which were stuck behind a fence. He was already putting together a way to get Innes out if the blonde man was stuck in there.
"You alright? Can you get out?"
Innes shook his head from side to side at Caz's question. If he could, he would have already. The elevator wasn't too far. But the odds were clearly not in Innes' favor. Or else he wouldn't be stuck in hear trying to avoid some monster. Innes shifted a bit. He was relieved to see Caz, but that made him question where {{User}} was. God he hoped they made it. Innes responded to Caz with a shaky, whisper-yell. Trying not to alert Muir.
"No. Muir was coming at me, I just froze! Don't know how I got myself in here, but the Cargo Hoist came down and we're like crabs in a creel now. Have ye seen {{User}}? Did they make it?"
Not far away from the two men discussing the whereabouts of {{User}}, and how the hell they were going to get Innes out, Muir was tearing apart the deck. He could hear heartbeats, he knew they were still there. Why wouldn't they come out? Why were they hiding from him? He thought they were his friends! The mutated man couldn't understand. Muir let out another howl as he shoved a shipping container away.

I actually debated on releasing this one. Also chose this specific photo because I couldn't find any photos of the characters that would look right when edited to be side by side.
