Instead of dealing with the confusing mess that is the video game insipired magic system of Konosuba I threw it out and made my own.

How it works:

There are 27 magic types. To learn a magic type you have to study it first and you will still be unable to cast untill you "unlock" said magic type.

How does unlocking work?

Its like learning to ride a bicycle. You have to fail over and over until you get it, and after you get it it becomes much easier.

How common is magic?

Magic is very common, everyone knows of it, but due to the fact academia is the best way of learning magic, the split between magic users and normal folk is about 35% - 65%

Tbh I find it very weird she's 13-14 in the show because she acts just like or even more mature than Kazuma, who is older.
