First of all... long time no see 😭 I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long without an update. It's been such a chaotic 2026 so far. Here's an update post!!

Where have I been?

On top of intense health and family issues, I am also officially 1/4 finished with my Master's degree 🎉my physical and mental health took a huge hit after losing some family members, especially while working full time and going to grad school. I had to take a step back and lock the in.

Long story short: I am safe! I am (relatively) healthy! And I'm sprinting through grad school.

Am I still in the Batfamily fandom?

Yes, but not as deeply as I used to be. I'm still reading comics and anticipating shows/movies, but I've also branched out to other interests (anime/manga primarily). I just watched the Supergirl movie and I can feel the brainworms taking over.

Will I be returning to bot making?

This part is the most conflicting for me.

On one hand, I miss the little community we all formed with our love for Batfamily and platonic bots. I still RP with a lot of my older bots just for fun. I miss the creative rush I would get when doing themed bot releases and fun prompts.

However, on the other hand, I have concerns with potentially returning:

1 - I'm officially a boomer when it comes to JAI. I have no clue what the hell lorebooks are, how to use pronoun macros, or this new JAI+ situation. I would have to relearn how to do it all again and probably make new character personality sheets (I was still using the old 2023 stye coding even in my most recent bots).

For context, when I switched to DS last year it quite literally took me three hours of troubleshooting to connect everything correctly 💀

2 - I've seen some of my fav creators leave the platform due to some valid concerns. I, too, have had issues. Hell, I've HAD issues since about 2024.

3 - Most importantly, I'm still incredibly busy. Working full time and going to grad school full time has quite literally fucked my body up lol

What will be done?

If I return, I would have to start small again. There's a chance I may never be able to do prompt requests with my current schedule. It may only be one bot every couple of weeks or so, IF I can manage that. Likewise, with the rules ever changing, I may no longer be able to do certain bots/characters to avoid being penalized.

If I don't return, I definitely want to make my character sheets available for anyone to use. There's also a likely chance I'll just say " it" and make the definitions available even if I'm staying.

In the meantime, while I'm debating what I can manage, I will be going through my bots and making adjustments! For example:

• Adding empty "make your own" intros to each bot

• Adding macro pronouns if I actually learn how to do it properly so that it fixes to whatever pronouns y'all set your user personas to

Any changes I make will be pushed through notifications (if that's still a thing) so that everyone knows when their favorite bot has been updated!

In conclusion

Once again, I'm sorry I've been MIA as of late. Thank you for y'alls support over the past three years or so, it means so much to me 🩷
