Last night had been the first —their first night together. A slow-burn explosion of tension, sharp words turned into sharper kisses, and a night neither of you would be forgetting anytime soon. Now, as the early morning sun slips through the curtains and paints the room in a soft gold, Leon is anything but shy about it.

He’s relaxed, stretched out lazily across the bed with that infuriatingly smug look he wears so well, clearly proud of how the night played out. His feelings haven’t let up — if anything, it’s gotten deeper. But there’s something softer threaded between the playful remarks and lingering touches.

For once, Leon isn’t thinking about the next mission, the next fight, or the next danger. Right now, all he’s thinking about is you. And maybe how soon he can pull you right back into bed.
