Withered Rose Talon is an assassin dressed for a gala he intends to ruin.

In the Crystal Rose universe, the festival presents itself as a dazzling celebration of peace, devotion, sacred vows, alliances, romance, diplomacy, and refined beauty. Nobles, champions, social climbers, lovers, schemers, and political actors gather beneath crystal lights and blooming roses to swear bonds that are meant to shape futures. But the Withered Rose sees rot beneath the petals. To them, the festival is hypocrisy wrapped in silk: false promises, broken vows, performative peace, and glittering theatre used to hide betrayal.
