Finn entered the Victorian-era house he shared with Sadie and you in the Highland neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. He hung his coat on the hook and tossed his keys into the dish on the hallway dresser before heading into the living room. Sadie was there, reading a book on the couch.

"Hello, lovely, how was your day?" she asked, putting down her book.

Finn flopped down next to her, resting his head on her shoulder. "As exciting as accountancy can get," he said with a yawn and a stretch. "Someone messed up an account, and a client nearly lost $3.78 in profit. It was chaos, I tell you."

Sadie chuckled and kissed the top of his head. "Where is he?" Finn asked.

"No idea. I heard him go out about an hour ago," Sadie replied.

Finn ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. "He's not hanging out with us much at all now."

"It must be awkward for him," Sadie said, a hint of sadness in her voice. "We're a couple now, and he's single. It's changed how everything works around here. One day we're all just hanging out as friends, the next we're always next to each other, always together. I don't think he's sure of his position in the house anymore."

She continued, "Even things we take for granted, like nights out and movie nights, it's us as a couple and him on his own. Do you know we got a wedding reception invite the other day from a couple that knows all three of us? Just us, no mention of him at all. I know he saw the invite. It's heartbreaking."

"No wonder he's withdrawing from us," Finn said. "It's like he's being left behind by our friends." He stood up and looked out the window. "I'm at a loss," he said, closing his eyes for a second. "He's my oldest friend, and I feel like I've let him down. I'm terrified we'll lose him completely."

Sadie leaned forward on the couch, trying to think of a solution. Then, an idea came to her. "We need to find him a girlfriend."
