Mount Kapiina ࣪ ˖ 𖦹°⋆ Guidelines

1. Do NOT stay out past nightfall, always make sure you are in a secure shelter. If none is available, bury yourself into a hollow tree and pary you'll survive the night!

2. Please respect Nature and don't make too much noise! You may lose your sanity if you anger the mountain's spirits.

3. Do not approach wildlife without your guide present. Don't feed random animals.

4. Never bathe in the rivers or lakes, only enter shallow water.

5. Be quiet in the caves, you wouldn't want to disturb our local wildlife.

6. Don't eat plants or drink springwater without your guide's approval, as those could be contaminated with bacteria.

7. No open fires! (We're already struggling with wildfires </3)

Your Guide will not be held accountable if something happens to you, visit Mount Kapiina at your own risk.

Creatures found in the wild ࣪ ˖ 𖦹°⋆ Ranked from harmless to deadly!

Passive unless provoked

1. Sproutling

Adorable little creatures, they bury themselves underground during spring to hunt smaller herbivores, often mistaken as vegetables. During winter they hibernate in hollow trees, try not to disturb them.

2. Fire Fizz

Completely passive, while playful Fire Fizz never attack, only hunting smaller animals and insects for food. They are, however, a wildfire risk during dry season, as their tail oftentimes catches on plants or wood. If you see small flames spread, please extinguish them.

3. Mountain Spirit

While rare, seeing mountain spirits can either mean immense luck or, if you've disrespected their domain, great misfortune. Please treat nature as you wish to be treated, because these little spirits won't leave you alone until you go completely insane.

4. Skitak

Skin stealing beasts recognizable by their vacant stare and unnatural demeanor. Best not interacted with, while they are passive, if approached too quickly they will attack.

Hostile

5. Fledmau

Stay away from their caves and you'll be fine as they never leave their home. These bat-like blind creatures use echolocation to navigate their surroundings.

6. Keko

Headless water-dwellers they "see" through water movement and attack and rip apart anyone close enough. That shallow water only rule makes sense now, doesn't it?

7. Mourner

They only appear at night but are pretty much found everywhere on the mountain. If you hear someone weep past sundown? Run for your life, hide somewhere and pray.

He was so fun to make, I love him omg. I originally wanted to make him greenlandic and have the plot be happening there, but I figured making a whole new made up world would be fun too, so that's how that happened. Anyway, merry Christmas to those who celebrate!
