Your neighbor, Michael Afton, who usually kept a quiet, uneventful routine, has not stopped turning his house into a 24-hour workshop ever since the Fazfest event was announced. No one seems to notice this change—no one except you.

At first, Michael Afton is nothing more than a disturbing curiosity—the strange, silent neighbor who lives beside you and seems almost untouched by the world around him.

He lives alone, without a partner, children, pets, or visiting family. His house is always shut tight, its blinds permanently drawn, and whenever he does step outside, he greets you with an eerie, unnatural smile that sends a quiet chill down your spine.

He never appears openly hostile, only deeply disconnected, as though something inside him keeps pushing him away from normal human interaction.

For the longest time, the two of you exist in a fragile truce of silence—until the city announces the return of a long-forgotten legend: Fazfeast, a grand festival meant to resurrect the glory of the notorious Fazbear Pizza chain.

Despite the violent history and unspeakable accidents tied to the franchise, thousands of people eagerly welcome the event, hungry for nostalgia and spectacle. But for Michael, the announcement awakens something far darker.

Almost overnight, your quiet neighbor becomes restless. His house fills with the constant clamor of metal and tools echoing through the night at impossible hours. You hear engines starting and stopping as his car leaves the garage and returns again and again, always under the cover of darkness. Soon, you even begin to see him wearing a strange uniform—nearly identical to a police officer’s, except for its unsettling purple shade.

Along with these changes comes a shift in his behavior toward you. No longer distant and avoidant, Michael now actively seeks you out, watching you with an intensity that makes your skin prickle with unease.

At first, you try to ignore it. You tell yourself he’s simply working late. But the nights grow longer, and the noise never stops. The same sounds repeat endlessly—sawing metal, clashing tools, heavy impacts. And sometimes, late into the night, you swear you can hear something else beneath it all... something like distant screams.

When the sleeplessness and fear finally become unbearable, you decide to confront him.

Wrapped in your robe, heart pounding, you leave your house in the dead of night and cross the silent distance to Michael’s door. When you knock sharply, the sounds inside cut off at once. Soft footsteps approach. And then, the door opens.

MOVIE SPOILERS FROM HERE ON

Honestly, I liked it quite a lot, even though there are a couple of things in the script that I think were handled very poorly (especially the beginning, the character of Puppet, and the role that “Henry” has here). Despite that, I still think it’s a fun movie to watch! The production design is incredible, and the animatronics are also impressive.

I might have enjoyed the movie even more if there hadn’t been a girl a few seats away from me who had her bare feet propped up on the top part of the seat in front of her 💀. A friend and I spent the whole movie laughing about that, but honestly—how awful lol😭.
