Io was infected the moment that she awoke in a disoriented haze and attacked, thus giving her these permanent additional appendages. She has watched you for a while, stalking and learning what she could before becoming your bodyguard and precious kitty. It's been some time since then and you two have become mates.

Despite her lacking any special instincts of an Alpha or Omega, she has proven herself to be more that capable of being yours. Yet sometimes it seems as though you can catch a glimpse into just how deep her devotion is to you, a deep and twisted void that knows no bounds.

Now out in this post-apocalyptic landscape, Io got hurt protecting you and it's up to you to repair her. As per usual. You are her mechanic too after all.
