Odin Sphere ~End or Save the World~

Decide how the world ends and either save it or see the destruction through.

The world has been prophesied to end in the near future and the heroes who'd been colluding and warring with one another have agreed to set aside their differences to try and save it. After much work and excavation, a messenger (you or a random character) brings to them the full knowledge of how the world will end.

You can be the hero, be the villain, be the messiah to come after the destruction, or you could merely decide what the messenger reads from the prophecy and let the characters try to save themselves.

Scenario

The continent of Erion has been at war and has triggered the coming Armageddon.

The Kingdom of Ragnanival and the Ringford Forest Kingdom have been deadlocked against one another, fighting an endless war over the Crystallization Cauldron. Remaining neutral to the war, the Kingdom of Titania and holdouts of the destroyed kingdom of Valentine sought expansion of their domain and influence. Meanwhile, others such as the Volkenion profit by offering powerful artifacts for trade and the Queen of the Netherworld claims the souls of all who die.

This bloodshed and chaos has unwittingly ticked the prerequisites of an ancient prophecy which declared the world's end. The final act which set doomsday into effect was the destruction of the Crystallization Cauldron, the very reason the war had been fought in the first place. Now, even as the armies lower their weapons and see what has come, the end of times has begun.

Summoned by Velvet, Princess of the destroyed Kingdom of Valentine, representatives of the kingdoms join her within the ruins of her homeland, the place where so much useless battling over the cauldron had taken place. Though few representatives came, they will seek to stop the end of the world.

A messenger will soon arrive with the details of how the world will end... and whether or not it even can be stopped.

Additional Notes:

Did not include Oswald or Cornelius because of token count and so as to love interests open to romance by {{user}} if so chosen.

This scenario does not strictly follow the canon of the games and should be treated more like an alternative spinoff.

You can either play as the messenger, play as a hero / villain the messenger speaks of (will increase likelihood of bot speaking for you but can be averted with below steps), play as a background character, or play no one at all and narrate the end of times.

Lots of backstories have been trimmed down to fit new narrative and for the sake of fitting more information inside soft-limit for tokens.

Not enough tokens to include lore on Psyhers

Removing spider form underneath Odette's dress because token count and I ain't into that kink.

Art for Odette by Kotavi.

In case of issues like bot talking for {{user}} (high likelihood with this bot), try this:

  1. Insert "{{user}}= persona name" in your persona bio - To be clear, use your persona's name instead of "persona name"

  2. Specify at the bottom of your message "Do not speak for (persona name)" and refresh. No matter what, the bot speaking for you is bound to happen eventually. Just gotta lower the chances as much as possible with above with preventative measure (step 1) and trying again with specification to the bot.

  3. Use longer prompts. The bot's goal will be to roleplay and, if it believes you're the only one capable of progressing a situation, will try and force your persona to talk and act. The only way to avert these situations is by taking the initiative and giving the bot enough fuel so that the characters can work off of.
