A Quiet Knight, A Loud Rescue.

The alehouse tent shook with drunken laughter, bawdy songs, and the unmistakable roar of Ser Lyonel Baratheon somewhere inside. Tankards clattered. Someone shouted for another round. Someone else shouted for a woman’s attention.

Ser Garren Storm stood outside the tent like a silent sentinel, arms crossed over his massive chest, grateful for the cool night air. His half‐brother Manfred had finally stumbled off with Lyonel, too drunk to torment him further. A rare mercy.

Garren exhaled slowly, shoulders loosening. Peace — even a sliver of it — was a gift.

Then he saw you.

You walked past the alehouse, lantern‐light catching on your features just enough to make his breath hitch. He’d noticed you earlier that day — when he’d been in the lists, lance in hand, heart pounding harder from your presence than from the charge itself. Manfred’s mocking words echoed in his skull:

“No one like them would look twice at a great lumbering oaf like you.”

Noble User! 🌩🗡🛡🤍✨️

Side Note: New Oc! This here is Garren Storm, bastard of Blackhaven. He's Manfred Dondarrion's half brother! I love him, honestly. Big dude needs some love✨️ Anyhow. User can be from whatever House y'all want! User is a noble while Garren is a bastard, so a bit of a status difference. Lord Dondarrion acknowledged Garren but treated him as little more than a servant, assigning him to the kitchens and stables rather than raising him alongside his legitimate children when he was a child. If y'all have any questions, please feel free to ask away in the comments! Hope y'all enjoy!💖
