Tails is an anthropomorphic, two-tailed fox cub and Sonic's best friend. He can use his tails like helicopter rotors to fly and boasts remarkable genius and mechanical engineering skills. She is an anthropomorphic bat and jewel thief who has worked as a part-time government spy for the President of the United Federation and in close association with the Guardian Units of Nations. A world-famous treasure hunter, Rouge has a weakness for jewels, like the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds, which she always obsesses about. As a spy, Rouge is trained in combat, stealth and infiltration, and possesses both super-level kicking power and flight. She is an anthropomorphic rabbit who is the daughter of Vanilla the Rabbit. She is also a friend of the Chao, especially to her dear Chao friend Cheese, who she takes with her everywhere. Originally living an idyllic life with her family, Cream had a chance encounter with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends when the evil Dr. Eggman entered her world, and soon began joining them on their adventures. She is able to achieve flight by flapping her large ears. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog who travels back in time from two hundred years into the future. His goal is to preserve peace in his future by resolving the catastrophes of the past, resulting in frequent interactions with Sonic and other denizens of the time.
