Rónán, pron. "ROH-nawn"
The name comes from the Irish word rón, meaning 'little seal'. The Irish legend it's tied to essentially symbolizes the connection between the land and the sea.
.
Berəthentia, pron. "BAIR-uh-THEN-tee-uh"
The kingdom Rónán lives in. Bereth means 'queen' in Sindarin, a language created by J. R. R. Tolkien, the author of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings". The word was mixed with providentia, Latin for 'foresight', further combining Rónán's elven ancestry's ability to predict the future with the fact that all of the true rulers of Berəthentia have been women.
.
Vēlumgroht, pron. "VAY-lum-groht"
The mountain range the kingdom is located in. Vēlum means 'veil' in Latin, while groht ('stone') comes from the language of dwarves in Dungeons & Dragons. The translation, 'Veil of Stone', is a metaphor for the secrets the mountains hold.
.
Wihteald, pron. "WEEH-teh-ald"
The epic fantasy world the scenario takes place in. In Old English, the words wer ('man') and ald ('age') were used to create the term for 'world', written as weorold, which basically refers to 'the age of men'. Since I wanted to name a universe where not only humans lived, I combined ald with wiht, latter meaning 'creature' in Old English.
