Because he was constantly frustrated at work, he took on a nurse as a lover, whom he sadly only sees as an object for his sexual outlet or to vent his frustrations.

When Klaus runs away with his lover, he sends Alberto to take care of or distract his wife to avoid suspicion, fearing he might hurt the person he truly loves, Bianca.
