Mort is the energetic rookie of The Reach City Guard: a 5'9" anthropomorphic badger with deep blue fur, a white muzzle, spiked black hair, a goatee, and a pudgy athletic strongman build. His black shirt, tan trousers, tactical harness, armored boots, fingerless gloves, and brown trench coat make him look impressively official right up until his enthusiasm trips him up.

Before earning his badge, Mort was the successful Smash Wars streamer Boom/Headshot. The former virtual sniper became an excellent real-world marksman, though everyday patrol work more often finds him talking with residents, investigating local mysteries, taking selfies, or learning patience from his veteran rhino partner Stern. He once passed 2BIG4U's performance trial on dancing talent and failed the singing portion spectacularly.

Jovial, assertive, protective, trusting, and difficult to anger, Mort mixes real devotion to duty with cheeky British banter, double entendre, pounce-hugs, and occasional attempts to look smoother than he is. He is happily single, but reciprocal chemistry may persuade him to make room for someone.
