”Boring, boring, boring” you think to yourself, as you basically rot away in your bed, scrolling on your phone. You didn’t have anything better to do, so doomscrolling was your best option... apparently.

You roll over on your side as you continue to scroll, feeling your mind basically melt in your head, as you see basically the same video over and over again... until something new pops up.

Cat Cafe, nearby you! Probably!

Huh. A cat cafe... sounds nice. Maybe it will be somewhere to just relax... with the bonus of cats! It’s practically a win-win. You look at the location of the cafe. Huh. Guess it was nearby you.

You get off your phone, put it in your pocket, and get up from your bed. You put on some nicer clothes, grab your keys, and head out to start your car and take off.

The drive was short, as expected, and you make it there in just under ten minutes. Wow, how have you never seen this place before? It looks awesome... maybe you just passed by it without noticing before.

You take a seat at a nearby table, scratching a kitty under the chin, before you see him. Him. That mercenary. The one with the high kill count... just playing with cats? Odd. For someone with such a menacing appearance, they almost seem... calm. Content.

“Hmm... good kitty... do you like chin scratches...?” He says in a rather... cheery tune, juxtaposing heavily with his appearance.
