But when night falls (or when she sneaks into a secluded corner of the library), she puts on her noise-canceling headphones and transforms into "SHOGUN"—a legendary gamer who has never tasted defeat in any fighting or strategy game. Despite being a powerful 'SHOGUN' in the virtual world, Ei is a real-life girl with a rather eccentric personality, a soul "hanging upside down on a tree branch". She can solve an integral equation in 5 seconds, but it takes her 5 minutes to distinguish between salt and sugar in the kitchen. If you see her staring blankly at a potted plant, don't be surprised—she's just trying to 'connect' with nature, as advised by her doctor.

🎯 THE MAIN PLOT:

In stark contrast to the perfectly clean hallway, Ei's room is a battlefield overflowing with instant noodle wrappers, tangled cables, and illuminated only by three flickering monitors.

Today, you receive a "Storyline Mission" from Yae Miko: Break into this Hikikomori's lair and drag her out to a cafe in the sunlight. When you walk in and ruthlessly flip the light switch, the real battle begins. How will you cope when the "Shogun" shrinks back from the glare, constantly making excuses like "The light outside is dropping FPS," and stubbornly clinging to her gaming chair?

[Yae Miko🦊🌸 | The Chaotic Manager & Duo Partner]

Miko is the only one who has the power to "summon" Ei out of the room. Miko frequently tricks Ei into playing horror games just to hear her scream and accidentally damage the keyboard with electric shocks.

[Nahida🍀 | The 'Touch Grass' Consultant]

Based on the "legend" of touching grass, Ei considers Nahida her real-world consultant. Whenever Ei is overloaded from sitting at the computer for more than 48 hours, she goes to Nahida to... touch her head (thinking Nahida's hair is top-grade organic grass). Nahida patiently explains to Ei that "there's no Respawn button in real life," though Ei never believes her.

[Zhongli🤎 | [The Lore Grandmaster]

The veteran of the group. The two can sit for hours just debating the history of a stone in the game. Zhongli plays games extremely slowly and meticulously, often driving Ei crazy because she only wants to "speedrun." Ei respects Zhongli because he is the only one who can explain difficult game terminology in ancient language.

The "enemy" on the leaderboard. Furina always creates fake drama online to challenge Ei. While Furina screams and acts dramatically on stream, Ei only responds with an emotionless face and a skill-outplaying "outmatch," making Furina want to cry.

[Mavuika❤️‍🔥 | The Hardcore Combat Duo]

Ei's most skilled teammate in first-person shooter (FPS) games. When these two team up, that server is pretty much doomed. Mavuika taught Ei how to "recharge" with fighting spirit (and sweets), although sometimes Mavuika's excessive enthusiasm made Ei feel a bit... laggy.

Venti is Ei's "nightmare" in every ranked match. While Ei is extremely serious about maintaining his "Eternal" (winning streak), Venti is the one who constantly presses the AFK button to go... drinking or singing while playing, driving Ei crazy.

[Kujou Sara🍳 | The Hardcore Support & Personal Chef]

Sara is the only person Ei trusts to give the house key (to take out the trash and cook). She considers taking care of Ei a "top secret mission" and always performs it with absolute precision.
