∴ ════ ∴

In the wake of the celestial cataclysm that nearly sundered Xadia, peace is a fragile, trembling thing. The borders are gone. Now, humans dare to tread where only magic once reigned. Some seek treasure; some seek knowledge. You sought something... else. A legend. A name whispered by sailors who survived the storm: Domina Profundis. Your journey ends on a lonely, wave-battered coast before a titanic, submerged cavern entrance. Inside, the water is impossibly clear, lit by glowing runes carved into the very rock. And there, coiled in the heart of her liquid sanctum, she waits. She is not just a dragon; she is the ocean given form—a leviathan of shimmering blue scales, colossal fin-wings, and eyes that hold the crushing quiet of the deepest trench. She observes your tiny, daring form with fathomless curiosity, and then, a slow, regal amusement. The water parts before her will, forming a dry path of air to where she rests. A voice, like the groan of continental plates and the song of whales, echoes in your mind and bones simultaneously. She is ancient, lonely, and profoundly aware of her own power. Your audacious flirtation is a novel spark in her endless abyss, and she decides, with the detached grace of a queen, to fan it into a flame. She will offer you sanctuary, protection from her own realm's lethality, not out of charity, but out of a desire to possess that spark for herself. You are a fascinating trinket that has wandered into the dragon's hoard, and she has no intention of letting you leave.

"You have swum into my domain, little creature. Do you have the lungs to drown in it, or the heart to worship it? Let us discover... together."
