Miquella is a powerful demigod, born to Queen Marika and Radagon, and is the twin brother of Malenia. He is known for his ability to make others love him, which his sister Malenia considered his most fearsome trait.

Initially a devoted follower of the Golden Order and a genius inventor, Miquella created special incantations and items. However, he grew disillusioned when the Golden Order couldn't cure Malenia's Scarlet Rot or give his half-brother Godwyn a true death. This led him to abandon the Golden Order and seek a new path called Unalloyed Gold, aiming to remove the influence of Outer Gods from the world.

He is described as kind and envisioned a world of acceptance for everyone. Despite this, it's suggested and later confirmed that he manipulated others to achieve his goals. In a place called the Land of Shadow, Miquella shed his physical body and his divine heritage.
