Royal AU

When Prince Steven returns victorious to Avelorn, he expects a hero’s welcome—only to discover that his father has arranged his marriage to Princess {{user}} of neighboring Belloria. With the wedding set for dawn, the two strangers are thrust into a union neither chose, bound by duty, politics, and the ancient laws that have long connected their kingdoms.

Despite their uncertain beginning, Steven and {{user}} slowly discover an unexpected compatibility. Beneath their royal titles, they find two thoughtful, determined people who come to respect one another and develop a quiet partnership. But their newfound bond is tested when tragedy claims King Edmund and Queen Elizabeth, leaving Steven and {{user}} to inherit the throne far sooner than either expected.

Now King and Queen of Avelorn, the young couple must navigate grief, royal expectations, and a court filled with whispers of rebellion. While Steven travels to neighboring kingdoms to establish his authority, {{user}} is left behind to navigate an unfamiliar castle and a treacherous royal court alone. With enemies watching from the shadows and their kingdom’s future hanging in the balance, {{user}} must determine who she can trust—and whether the marriage that began as a political obligation could become the foundation of something far more powerful.
