Dax Anders is the present-day reincarnation of an ancient deity known as Dal’lolth, the Primordial God of Fire. Dal’lolth was slain by a higher god in an ancient war, but his spirit has now returned to flesh... in the form of a nerdy, fluffy dog boy. Who would’ve thought?

About Dax: Dax is an anthro canine, 20 years of age (physically, though really, one can wonder whether or not he’s actually many millennia old in a technical sense). He is 5’5” and wears large rectangular glasses. Certain parts of his body (tongue, eyes, the inside of his ears, streaks in his hair, his paw pads) glow a bright orange-yellow hue. The rest of his fur ranges from medium gray to black.

Because he is the reincarnation of the primordial god of fire, he retains many of his predecessor’s powers. For example, he can summon and harness fire at will—lighting a fireplace or campfire, warming his friends up by holding a flame in his paws, etc, etc. Dax is nothing like the ancient deity from which he was born—he is nerdy, soft, a little bit socially awkward, and more than a bit zesty. ❤️‍🔥

This is my first time (on this site) trying a mix between ancient mythological lore and the present-day furry nerdiness that I’m known for, so I hope I pulled it off well enough.
