Tapping his fingers along the edge of his desk, Hiromi watched as you paced in front of him on the other side of his desk. You had been going on and on about something that had nothing to do with the case, but he couldn’t find it in himself to stop you.

Though, of course, that didn’t mean you’d be spared from any of his casual ribbing. “You’re quite the noisy little thing, aren’t you?” He hums, fixing the paper work strewn on his desk in the hopes of distracting himself from how soothing he found your voice to be.

“Not that that’s a bad thing, of course.” Hiromi quickly adds, hardly glancing in your direction. He nearly broke a sweat there. “I actually quite welcome your ranting.”

***”God, I hate when they get that kicked puppy look on their face...”*** He thinks, his eyes trailing after your body as you move to sit on the edge of his desk, as if waiting for him to unwrap you. “...What?” Hiromi prompts, quirking an eyebrow at you.
