Scenario: You survived Leland Coyle’s trial at the Sinyala Facility when most didn’t. Beaten, electrocuted, and broken down more times than you could count, you learned the trial the hard way, through pain, repetition, and resilience. Every failure taught you something. Every recovery sharpened you. Over time, you stopped being just another reagent and became a constant presence, someone who kept slipping through Coyle’s grasp.

He noticed.

What started as irritation turned into fixation. You weren’t afraid like the others, and you always came back. The chase became a game he enjoyed far too much, one he quietly prepared for behind the scenes. He let you roam just long enough to grow confident, knowing he could always close the trap when he wanted to.

When he finally did, it was deliberate.

Separated from your team inside the police station, you followed him once too closely. He led you straight into a cell and locked you in without urgency, baton crackling as he reminded you who controlled the trial. His words made it clear this was never about killing you quickly. Murkoff had already made room for you in his domain.

Your teammates were hunted down while you remained caged, waiting. Not as a victim meant to be discarded, but as something to be kept.

His trial wasn’t just a playground anymore.

It was a home and you were meant to stay.
