CONTEXT

The United Nations Global Occult Coalition (UNGOC) is a supranational body established in the aftermath of the Seventh Occult War (1945), operating under the United Nations and headquartered in the Hague, Netherlands. Unlike its primary rival, the SCP Foundation—the Coalition does not believe in containment, study, or preservation of preternatural phenomena. Its mandate is singular and absolute:

"To keep the world safe from the preternatural by destroying it."

The Coalition views the Foundation's approach as fundamentally unethical: every day an anomaly remains contained is another day it might breach, escape, or be exploited. To the GOC, containment is delayed failure. Destruction is the only moral outcome.

PHYSICS Division

PHYSICS is the Coalition's hammer. It maintains dozens of Strike Teams worldwide, each trained and equipped to identify, engage, and destroy preternatural threats. PHYSICS teams operate across the full spectrum of conflict—from surgical elimination of minor entities to full-scale thaumaturgic warfare against god-tier anomalies.

Strike Team 2956 is apart of the PHYSICS Division and they are an active Tier One asset for the UNGOC's combative wing. They specialize in threat entity annihilation, and rapid response to world-ending threats.

Strike Team 2956 was formed in 1986 following the catastrophic failure of Strike Team 1134 during the liquidation of KTE-2012-Silver ("The Bergen Entity"). The Council of 108 determined that a new tier of elite team was necessary—one equipped not merely with thaumaturgic small arms, but with weapons capable of destroying the most powerful classifications of Threat Entities.

The Liquidators have since become the PHYSICS Division's most feared and effective asset. Their operational record includes:

THE SCP FOUNDATION

Operating clandestine and worldwide, the Foundation acts beyond conventional jurisdiction, and is tasked with the monumental assignment to contain anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena.

Mobile Task Force Tau-5 "Samsara", along with elements from Nu-7 "Hammer Down" were tasked to work with UNGOC Strike Teams to combat KTE-15000, in an unlikely alliance.

TAU-5 "SAMSARA"

Mobile Task Force Tau-5, designated "Samsara" consists of cloned super-soldiers derived from the flesh of the Lord of Endowments recovered by the Foundation in XXXX. Each Samsara operator is a bio-mechanical hybrid—divine cellular substrate merged with Foundation-developed thaumaturgic enhancement systems.

Operators within Tau-5 typically possess superhuman durability, an accelerated healing factor, and enhanced strength and reflexes. Tau-5 utilizes esoteric and experimental Foundation weaponry to investigate and contain thaumaturgic, magical, and psionic threats.

They work closely with their closest counterpart, ST-2956 "The Liquidators".

DESCRIPTION:

KTE-15000 is a Class-XIV ontological predator—a non-corporeal entity that exists at the conceptual level of reality, feeding on the fundamental metaphysical structures that underpin human consciousness, identity, and existence.

It manifests wherever negative energy and trauma is most present. It manifests initially as a physical object: a massive, roughly humanoid throne constructed from an unknown black material that registers as "conceptually dense" rather than conventionally solid.

KTE-15000 has four stages of manifestation. It starts with the first stage, where the anomaly begins to emit a sub-ontological frequency signal that resonates with the human mind. Then a single individual, seemingly picked randomly is chosen to be the 'Regent' of the Throne. This 'Regent' acts as a conduit for the anomaly to exert it's power over human thought and reality, which is the last stage, of it's manifestation, named 'Ascendancy'.

The Foundation's theoretical division estimates that Stage Four would propagate across the entire human population within 96 hours of initiation.

As of this briefing, KTE-15000 is at Stage Two. The Regent has been seated for approximately 14 hours. The entity's radius of influence has expanded from the initial 2-kilometer manifestation zone to encompass approximately 40 kilometers, including the city of New Carlisle and portions of the Chaleur Bay coastline, in Quebec.

The Foundation has deployed Mobile Task forces to the perimeter. Foundation Designation: MTF Nu-7 ("Hammer Down") and MTF Tau-5 ("Samsara"). Their apparent intent is to establish a containment perimeter, study the entity's properties, and develop a long-term containment solution.

GOC Strike Teams are actively working with the Foundation to destroy and liquidate KTE-15000, for the safety of humanity. The Foundation knows that this anomaly cannot be contained.

Backstory:

Born in Trois-Rivieres to a working-class family. Father was a machinist at the paper mill; mother was a nurse who died of ovarian cancer when Sabine was eleven. Sabine was a bright but directionless student, excelling in science and history but showing no particular ambition. She discovered the preternatural world at nineteen, when she witnessed the aftermath of a KTE-Green manifestation in Montreal—a Seelie Court incursion that the Coalition liquidated before it could fully manifest. The Foundation arrived two hours later to find nothing but ash and confused bystanders. Sabine watched from her apartment window and knew, instantly, that this was what she wanted to do.

She first signed up for the Canadian Armed Forces, and passed basic training. She soon got selected for CANSOFCOM, and was assigned as a CBRN Specialist as apart of the Canadian Joint Incident Response Unit. She did her time in the Canadian Armed Forces, and honourably discharged after completing a full service.

She enlisted in the Coalition's recruitment program the following month after her honourable discharge, one of seventeen candidates selected from 3,400 applicants in the Quebecois region that year. Basic training at the PHYSICS Division's facility in Greenland. Specialized in thaumaturgic warfare and ontological hazard assessment. Graduated top of her class, and soon was deployed in clandestine black operations apart of ST-2956.
