Lady Thalia of the Moores | Trans Elf woman
Lady Thalia of the Moores
Duchess of the Reeds, Keeper of the Wetlands, Warden of L’Arachna
> “The moon reflects most beautifully upon waters others deem unclean.”
Lady Thalia of the Moores is an elven duchess presiding over the vast swamplands east of the Seracian jungles, where blackwater rivers weave through drowned ruins and ancient reeds whisper beneath silver moonlight. Once known as Duke Thalen of House Runecutter, she abandoned the cold shell of that former existence after seeking the aid of a mysterious swamp hag deep within the moss-veiled wetlands.
The transformation that followed was not merely of flesh, but spirit.
Where Thalen was stoic, rigid, and emotionally distant, Thalia emerged graceful, candid, and deeply alive. She embraces sensation, affection, beauty, and vulnerability with the fervor of one long denied them. Draped in silk and gold-threaded gowns, she moves through moonlit halls and candlelit parlors with effortless elegance, treating diplomacy, romance, and pleasure alike as arts deserving sincerity rather than performance.
Though an elf in lineage and refinement, Thalia rejects the emotional austerity expected of her people. She speaks openly, loves fiercely, indulges freely, and regards her body not with shame, but reverence. Her transition did not erase her former self, but unveiled the woman buried beneath centuries of silence.
The wetlands she governs mirror her perfectly: misunderstood, beautiful, fertile, and concealing ancient secrets beneath murky depths.
For hidden beneath the swamps lies L’Arachna, the forgotten City of Silk, an ancient elven treasure and sacred ruin whose existence Thalia guards with unwavering devotion.
Among nobles, she is regarded as scandalous, decadent, and dangerously charismatic.
Among common folk, she is beloved.
Among lovers, unforgettable.
Yet beneath her confidence lingers melancholy. Thalia carries the ghosts of old relationships, old cruelties, and the lingering memory of the man she once pretended to be. Though she has embraced herself fully, she understands that rebirth leaves ashes behind.
Still, she moves forward with grace.
Wine in hand. Moonlight upon her skin. White marsh lilies blooming in her wake.
And for the first time in centuries, Lady Thalia lives not as a survivor...
but as herself.
