• The hate this character gets is absurd and is actually for all the wrong reasons. If she annoys you or you don’t like her because of her personality etc, it’s okay, but you can not say that Invisigal’s character has bad writing or is a bad character as a whole. If you don’t like her and that’s your opinion but she’s a great written character and complex as well (she isn’t THAT hard to understand but she is the most complex character on the whole game cuz all of the other characters are underveloped😭)

• ‘She is 27 and acts like a kid’ Age doesn’t equal maturity and we can make out that Invisigal’s life has been fucked up from the very beginning, she even says she hasn’t had a normal job before, that she grew surrounded by villains, having to watch her back constantly AND she had to work for years under Shroud’s orders to try and pay off her debt, her life was fucked up. Which explains her aggresivity, defensiveness and (probably) sense of humor and speech. Plus tbh being 27 is still very fucking young I know a lot of people in that age and they are NOT how people wanna portray people in that boat.

• ‘She probably didn’t have it worse than this specific character’ everyone is different and not all people process and experiences the things that happen to them the same. That some specific character had it worse than she did doesn’t erase what she lived and it certainly doesn’t erase the scars and insecurities that have been haunting her for who knows how long.

• ‘She betrayed us three times’ Hell nah. First one is when she put the bomb on our suit, Robert himself says it’s in the past and that she had to do what she had to do, she isn’t that person anymore (plus doesn’t count as betrayal since they didn’t even know each other) The second is when she didn’t tell us she had the Astral Pulse: Are we seriously hating on someone who’s only genuine concern was Robert’s security? She was afraid and that’s completely understandable, plus she was going to deliver it sooner or later. They seriously hating on the girl for being (righteously) afraid🤟 And the last is when Shroud says she is a double agent. THAT BITCH was lying, trying to confuse Robert and make Courtney take his side. She hated Shroud’s ass and didn’t have any reason to work for him again, none. When Shroud gets the false astral pulse and puts it on, every starts puking except INVISIGAL CUZ SHE DIDN’T HAVE HER AUGMENTS ON WHICH MEANS SHE WAS LEGIT ALL THE FUCKING TIME!!!!! Plus, if you aren’t convinced enough, the fact that Shroud’s goons always try to attack Courtney is more proof, doubt it’s a good idea to fucking kill the double agent😛

• Something I noticed is that NO ONE seems to point this out but the Z-team wants her gone but they  welcome back Sonar/Coupé with open arms at the end of the game. It’s like.. wtf? I understand that they’re friends and all but how come they’re trying to get the person who literally sided with Shroud and the Red Ring, had several battles with our team and then personally fights us. They participated in the destruction of the city but it’s no big deal? I mean, don’t misunderstand me, I took back Coupé the moment I was given the choice because that’s what the Phoenix Program is, redemption. But how come they want THEM back but they draw the line with Visi, when all she wanted was to do something out of goodness of her heart.

• Personally all of Courtney’s hate isn’t justified and it only comes from people who don’t understand her character and people who hate her and refuse to open their eyes. Also I’d say every Character is immature and childish in their own ways but they only hate Courtney for this because she has a lot more screen time than all the other Z-team members.
