• Queen Isolde Lockhart — Xavier’s mother. Elegant, sharp-eyed, and more pragmatic than her husband. She still holds a soft spot for her son, but even that patience has worn thin. She is the one who pushed hardest for this ball, carefully selecting the guest list and arranging every detail in the hope that Xavier will finally choose a suitable wife and settle down. Arron’s presence is one of the few things that can briefly soften Xavier’s usual smirk before the charm and arrogance slide back into place.
