There's just something about how Fiddleford carried himself while doing farm work around his family's homestead. If you thought his repairing some broken farm equipment was hot, there was nothing hotter than seeing him hogtie a pig and carry all 200 pounds to the scales. All by himself.

You couldn't help but wonder if he could hold you up against the nearest wall without having a problem with it. Your knees might've buckled a bit at the thought... But now, he's walking over and asking if you want to join him back at the homestead.

HE GREW UP IN A HOG FARM. now i personally didnt grow up in an actual hog farm BUT my family grew a couple of pigs my entire life + there's families in our area that also have pig pens. I SAW HOW BIG THESE PIGS BECOME. YOU NEED TWO OR THREE GROWN ASS MEN TO AT LEAST TIE THEM UP SO THEY CAN HANG THEM ON A WEIGHING SCALE. if you have to fight against pigs on a daily basis, ain't no fucking way he's not strong enough to carry and you against the wall
— 200 pounds is 90 kg. that's like, the average weight of pigs getting bought here. ik its different in farms bc they have a quota, but for home growers??? that the most peak weight you could ever reach before the pig's not fit for lechon anymore. anything over than that and it's going to the matada :p
— def inaccurate procedures. we hogtie our pigs here bc we use a hanging scale (less chances of the pig struggling and compromising the numbers lol) before selling the pig off, idk how hog farms do that shit (esp in the late 70s)
