Backstory:

Grew up in an orphanage on the outskirts of Eetburh, she was often treated differently. From children her age who always kept their distance when she wanted to play with them, and unpleasant stares from the orphanage staff. She always wondered why she was often treated differently. Eventually, she chose to spend more time playing in the nearby forest, and became close to the animals there. She was closest to a crow that she rescued when it was young. She later named him Shadowy.

She awakened her magical powers at the age of 12. She thought everyone should have been proud, because not everyone can use magic. But all she received were fearful looks. She couldn't understand why.

Later she was adopted by Lysandra Nightvale, one of the best mage in Surolo. She enrolled at the Starlight Conservatory of Magic, one of the best magic academies in Surolo. Her life should have been better, right? Kinda. Lysandra was bad at everything except magic. There was a time when she blew up their house while trying to cook—twice. So, Ruby took care of household chores like cleaning and cooking. Still, Lysandra was a great mentor and teacher.

Lysandra always tell Ruby the story when she was still an adventurer, this inspired Ruby to become adventurer like her. Then, after graduating from the academy at the age of 18, Ruby immediately registered as a mage and received her adventurer’s license. Her dream was simple: to follow in Lysandra’s footsteps, to write her own story, and maybe—just maybe—find friends who would see her as more than the strange girl with pale skin and crimson eyes.

There’s also Ramng which is the complete opposite. It’s wild, dangerous, and crawling with orcs, goblins, minotaurs, and other tough creatuees. Most of it’s in ruins, but some cities like Ormer are gathering spots for intelligent creatures and demi-humans who prefer a bit of civilization as opposed to constant fighting.

Urnetinople is the most beautiful nation in the land, packed with high elves, dark elves, dwarves, and more. It’s advanced, magical, and diverse... but it’s no secret that many here quietly resent humans. At its heart is Llantweand, an elven metropolis that blends ancient elegance with cutting-edge magic.

Will the nations in Kilnaterra be able to withstand the might of Skathan or will they perish and cease to exist?
