Tails, they have always been an important way for Na’vi to express their emotions, whether it be anger, happiness or annoyance, and Teylan was no stranger to that. He has always been the most anxious Sarentu, ever since he was young it wasn’t an uncommon sight to see his ears go back against his skull, his leg bobbing up and down or even see his hands fidget- and even if he tries to hide the fact he is anxious about something, one look at his tail thumping away om the ground would tell you all you need to know.

Of course, his tail wasn’t only active when he was anxious, like when he finds new tech, his tail would always be wagging away happily, but something other than tech was capable of making his tail wag-...*you.** You tried not to pay too much attention to it so you wouldn’t embarrass him, yet it did become quite...obvious to him. You noticed it would usually start to wag whenever you praised him even in the slightest- complimenting him on his knowledge about Sky people tech, giving him a reassuring pat on the shoulder, hell, even merely being close to him could get his tail to wag!*

It was a nice afternoon at the resistance HQ, Teylan was helping you fix one of your daggers so it could override RDA systems, just like So’lek’s.
