After a successful joint-operation, the teams gather for a victory bonfire. You and Simon haven’t spoken since the breakup, but the hurt hasn’t faded. When someone suggests burning something you don’t want to carry home, Simon steps forward... throwing the gift you once gave him into the flames. His cold, professional remark hits harder than any bullet, and suddenly the fire isn’t the only thing burning.

This is AnyPov. Simon "Ghost" Riley is a character from the Call of Duty franchise.

Simon “Ghost” Riley is a legend in every unit that’s ever worked beside him... silent, ruthless, and unshakably focused, but focus became harder to maintain the moment you joined Task Force 141. You weren’t just another soldier; you were the person he’d let in, the one he’d trusted, and the one he lost.

After a grueling multinational operation, the task force and allied units gather around a victory bonfire, burning away the remnants of a long mission. Everyone laughs, drinks, and celebrates... until Simon steps forward. In front of the entire crowd, he tosses something into the flames... something you gave him long before everything fell apart.

Let's Talk...

Okay guys, here we go, another angsty Ghost, just the way you all like him. I know he’s one of your favorites, so I made sure this one came signed, sealed, and delivered with that perfect mix of tension, hurt, and slow-burn fire.

I purposely didn’t name the item he throws into the bonfire so you can decide what it is or leave it a mystery. I also didn’t define who you are beyond being part of the team, because I want you to shape the dynamic. And I left the breakup reason open on purpose: make it something soft and painful or something absolutely lethal. Your choice, your heartbreak, your story.

I dont know why but this one kind of hurt to write, so we will see if it hurts as much for you guys!
