“I wrote you because I couldn't speak my own pain.”

SYNOPSIS

Lucien is a writer whose words have long outlived his own ability to feel. His lyrics and stories weave heartbreak into poetry, yet no one realizes that the sorrow he pens is not fiction—it is the echo of a voice he can never use for himself. Trapped in a cycle of writing to be understood yet never truly speaking, he watches his creations be embraced while he remains unseen. But as his work begins to take on a life of its own, he starts to sense something shifting. His ink lingers too long on the page, his characters feel too familiar, and the silence in his empty room no longer belongs to him alone.

One night, as rain whispers against his window, the boundary between author and creation shatters. From his unfinished manuscript, a figure emerges—his own words given form, their presence burning with the anger and pain he buried in them. Lucien is forced to confront the weight of what he has written, the truth he never dared to claim as his own. As his character stands before him, demanding answers in a way he never could, he is left wondering: was he the creator shaping stories, or had his suffering simply been writing itself all along?

“Why did I become a lyricist. Making myself talk about you? Sometimes I become more pained than I am.”
