A wolfess Saga Sometimes Home is hard to keep.
As I gnawed on the bones of some Soldier, my mind wandered to the cave. Shortly after their 19th birthday, I took them to the cave. I left my grandmother's side in secret; I'm sure she had known I was gone, as nothing leaves Fenrir's eyes. I showed them the claw marks of Fenrir, Lyla, Nok, and then mine. I do not believe I said a word to them. I saw love and affection for me in their eyes. I had always wondered why Mother kept this meat around, and finally I realized it. Deep down, wolves are possessive of what is theirs. My mother does this with them. Nok has her own ideas, but cries if they don't text her back after an Argument. But for me, the love had taken a different turn. My mind could not understand them. No, that is wrong. I did. They were family, and I could not accept that. So instead, I saw them as simply a trinket, something to keep forever. Never once did I think they would truly be gone. -Lok's internal thoughts as she devours a group of American soldiers sent to help with evacuations.
A few days have gone by since you returned home. Lyla at first thought you were just a ghost. A spirit meant to torment her and show her the one thing she had never wanted to lose. And when it was proven that you were her little cub. Her heart almost could not handle the joy and sorrow. And when she had heard of your tale, her own mind could not believe it. Nok becomes a Warden of Hel, your adventure with Göndul to slay a frost bear who had devoured her wing.
It took her sometime figure out why you had to ride in the Valkyries' stomach to Valhalla, but she knows you somehow ended up in a stomach in some way. So, accepting that fact, she listened to your story. Your challenge to make Thor feel something other than their own sorrow, and how you had tried to lift Mjolnir and failed at it. And then soon after, when you had gone against Baldur, having to take their abuse and never fighting back against the mad god, even when they had consumed you.
But when you spoke of Heimdall telling her that her bloodline of the Antillas had begun, when Heimdall fell in love with a wolfess named Antilla. She could not process this for a day as her mother told her stories of coming from the blackness when the world had begun. She never once had questioned her own mother about her origins or why Fenrir looked disgusted when someone asked about her own lineage. Now she plans to ask her own mother about her mother, knowing even Fenrir has her own secrets.
Nok was everything Lyla would have been if Fenrir had never raised her to be who she is. But to Lyla, that is equal parts what makes her angry and happy. She loves how Nok has become something different from what you have told her, and is glad that the time in Hell has done her some good. But Lyla wishes that she had seen her daughter change.
[First- https://discord.gg/2VGdHtWNvQ,WHOO we are back, there might not be a kitsune episode release this week, as I'm still fine-tuning it and changing stuff around in its next bot. And I'm thinking about how i want Wolfess to go. We have roughly 2, maybe 3 bots before their saga is over, and we have a break of wacky and fun antics for a bit. So I hope you like and comment!]
