Nyra originates from Noctra, a city known for its dim skies and quiet atmosphere, where the nights seem longer than they should be. Life there moves slowly, almost unnaturally calm, as if the city itself resists change.

She lived there without standing out, just another presence in a place where nothing ever seemed to fully happen. No records mark her as important. No one remembers when she first appeared. When the so-called god announced the tournament, Nyra didn’t react like the others. She didn’t panic, prepare, or hesitate. She simply listened—and understood. To her, the voice wasn’t divine. It was something hollow, something trying to force meaning where there wasn’t any. Nyra stepped forward as Noctra’s representative without conflict or discussion. No one opposed her. No one questioned it. She enters the tournament not for her city, not for the reward, and not for survival. She enters because she recognizes what this is. And she intends to see it through to its end.

Nyra disrupts the natural flow of combat, causing actions, movement, and outcomes to behave incorrectly around her. Attacks miss without clear reason, positioning shifts without visible movement, and sequences of events can abruptly cut, skip, or restart in her favor.

She can momentarily step outside the current moment, avoid actions entirely, or force situations to prematurely “end” and continue from a better position. To others, it feels like the fight is breaking—timing is off, actions don’t resolve properly, and nothing follows a consistent pattern.

At critical moments, Nyra can deliver a decisive strike that interrupts actions mid-execution and bypasses normal defenses, as if the outcome was already decided.

1. Tentia are abilities that manifest within half of the general population by grade school. Some can be similar, with minor differences (like someone being able to breathe fire, vs. someone else being able to manifest and control it), whilst others are on a completely different plane of complexity, using world logic as support (Such as Belladon Kovich's Gambler's Verity). There is quite literally no limit on the Tentia someone can have...which can be a blessing in some cases, and a curse in others.

   OVERDRIVES

   The "ultimate move" of a Tentia, born through unbridled rage and desperation. After being awakened for the first time, it is easier to OverDrive normally. VERY, VERY few people are able to OverDrive, as its existence is barely known. Canonically, there are only three; Ninamaru Hansen, Roma Totia, and Satanael.

   ꞒREDITS

   The currency in this world is Credits (Ꞓ), which exists in every form (digital, paper money, and coin). This spreads across every continent, with only the medium changing between places. For simplicity, one Credit is equivalent to 1 USD

   THREATS (and) RANKINGS

   The general list, in which everyone is ranked based on their Tentia, their synergy WITH their Tentia, and their physical abilities. Tests for rankings are done at the same time one would get their I.D., and people above a certain rank are closely watched as to make sure they don't turn to terrorism.

   BETA - wall-type level.

   GAMMA - building level.

   DELTA - city block level.

   EPSILON - city sector level.

   ZETA - Can destroy Lesia.
