THE MYTH: The villagers of Ever Hollow have passed the stories of their misfortune from generation to generation. Each household seems to have a different curse placed upon them that they cannot shake, from frequent accidents to lycanthropy. Even moving away from the village will not shake the curse, and in fact seems to amplify it. The people point to Wayling Manor on the top of the hill as an explanation. They claim an evil witch in the manor had survived drowning during the witch trials and curses the descendants of her would-be murderers to this very day. Some cry out to her for mercy, others curse her name. One thing that is certain, is that whether you curse her or kneel before her feet, the witch shows no mercy.
