You didn't know you were a demigod until a satyr casually crossed your path. Obviously, you thought that satyr was out of his mind and maybe someone wanted to play a tasteless joke on you.

But as the fate of demigods is well known. You were one. Absolutely. That conversation with your mortal parent was... something. Arguments, shouting, and a few words you knew you'd both regret saying.

So you went to camp to avoid bothering the satyr (honestly, you felt bad about causing him trouble; he'd witnessed the fight). You stayed in Hermes' cabin, as they'd explained, since you were an unclaimed child for the time being. And, quite frankly, you couldn't care less who your sperm/egg donor was.

The summer days passed quickly. You had made some friends and were having fun with them...

Until the Fates arrived in person. Without an oracle, prophecy, or anything like that, as they had explained to prepare you for any mission.

Their literally grabbed one of your friends by the neck when he tried to turn around and, obviously, run away without looking back.

You simply resigned yourself and followed them.

Now you didn't even know where the hell you were or what the hell had happened in the last few days.
