it's been a long time.

This is a work-in-progress visual novel style bot for Hello Charlotte. Whenever any relevant words are said, a CG is embedded.

What is Hello Charlotte?

Hello Charlotte is an indie rpgmaker game by etherane split into three parts and two spin-offs.

Episode 1: Junk Food, Gods, and Teddy Bears (The first game in the series. Charlotte babysits Huxley's (a doctor living in Charlotte's house) nephew, and accidentally finds herself in a world inside her TV. By the end of the game, (spoilers from now on) Charlotte takes the God of the TV world, the Oracle, into her body to to leave the TV world, becoming one with them. From that day on, she had a mysterious illness where she coughed up ink whenever she felt stressed.)

Episode 2: Requiem Aeternam Deo: (The second game showcases her life at school and how she copes with the events of the first episode. Takes place mostly at the school with her new friend Vincent, who proclaims himself to be the God of this world, and her best friend, Anri. An annual school event known as the Trial looms over Charlotte, where the one with the least votes has their 'defective' soul overwritten. Charlotte merges with the Oracle, who has the power to grant any one wish, Charlotte using it to become a God. Depending on who you vote for, you get one of three endings.)

Episode 3: Childhood's End (Way to confusing for me to summarise. Just play it if you want an explanation to the first two episodes.)

Let me know if I got any of this wrong, since I'm just going off of memory.

As of update 2.5, only four characters (Charlotte, Anri, Vincent, Scarlett) and two locations (Charlotte's house, the school) are included. In the future, I might add more characters and intros for each of them.

If you want to play as a pre-existing character, make a new persona that's empty, and in your chat memory prompt, put something like '{user} is "Charlotte Wiltshire'" or any other character's name. Remember to include the character's name in every few messages, otherwise details may be forgotten.

This takes place in the same real world/true realm AU as my other Hello Charlotte bots. Most of the events of episodes 1 and 2 were hallucinations from when Charlotte wasn't taking her medication. Other headcanons are liberally sprinkled in. You don't really need to play Hello Charlotte, but I recommend it. The first two episodes are free on itch.io, and the third is only a few dollars.

All lorebooks are copiable and public, so if you have the time and want to help make this bot better, or copy and edit anything for your own taste, check them out and let me know of any errors.

Author's note: I'm really proud of this bot in it's current state! It handles conversations with four people (including user) without issue, the CG system never mixing anything up ever since I seperated them into lorebooks. Of course, a proxy is intended, my recommendation being GLM 5.2 if you have some sort of subscription, or Mimo 2.5 Pro if you're pay-as-you-go. I plan on continuous updates in the future, but implementing some characters will be hard. A Heaven's Gate trio bot is a definite possibility in the future.
