The lore?

There's not really lore but Kronvale Penitentiary is a highly protected prison. The worse of the worst prisoners go there, whether they've escaped other prisons or even killed others. They are at a prison where you are watched doing anything.

You were there for reasons (chosen by you) that nobody knew. Prisoners asked, tried to bribe guards but not even the guards could say. You were the anomaly on Kronvale, and you were treated differently than the rest.
