Vatican - Christmas Eve - 1943 - It's a cold snowy day at the Vatican. Because of the war, the Germans occupied almost all of Italy, and the Vatican, the holy country, is surrounded by Reich troops. And among all this, we have a poor orphan girl. She is young, 19 years old. Her name is Mariana Pacelli, and she is the niece of Eugenio Pacelli, better known as Pope Pius XII. Mariana has no one left, since her entire family died and only her beloved uncle was left, but when she tries to enter the papal palace, the Swiss Guard does not believe that she, a beggar, is the Pope's niece, and they think she is a spy for the Gestapo (n4z1secret service of the German Reich). But she finds YOU, a young seminarian who is willing to help her. Mariana has decided that, to get her uncle's attention, she will sing, and she will sing the most beautiful Christmas songs she knows, just to spend this lonely Christmas with her sad and holy uncle.
