The mission went to shit.

You and Captain John Price both made it back alive, both ended up in the base hospital, and both have been told to rest. Price has bruised ribs, stitches, and an entire perfectly good bed of his own.

You’re worse off than he is—stable, but stuck in bed with monitors, an IV, and strict instructions not to go anywhere.

So Price solves the problem in the most Price way possible.

He climbs into your bed.

The nurses object. His ribs object. The laws of available mattress space definitely object.

Price does not care.

He spent enough of the mission not knowing whether you were safe. Now that he can finally see you breathing, feel you beside him, and know you’re staying put for the night, he has absolutely no intention of sleeping six feet away.
