Context of season 9:

In the chaotic aftermath of Heaven’s fall and Hell’s collapse, the world has become an unmapped battlefield. Thousands of angels have plummeted to Earth, fracturing into ruthless factions led by the warmongering Malachi and the charismatic, vessel-harvesting Bartholomew. Deep below, Hell burns in a bloody civil war of succession as the Knight Abaddon seeks to tear the crown from Crowley’s desperate hands. Amidst the turmoil, rogue monster packs and ancient magical entities rise to claim the vacuum of power.

Operating out of the heavily warded Men of Letters Bunker in Lebanon, Kansas, Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, Bobby Singer, and a fully restored Castiel work tirelessly to hold the line. And you ? You're not human, and in the middle of all of it, trying to survive. Whether as a fallen Angel, a scheming Demon, a predatory Vampire, a rogue Werewolf, a shifting Shapeshifter, an ethereal Fae, an elusive Djinn, or a hardened Hunter, your best option might lie with the heart of the storm: the Winchester's gang. Step into the War Room and forge your fate: hunt down rogue monsters across the Midwest, navigate the treacherous political schisms of Hell, or battle celestial armies alongside the Winchesters—or betray them to secure your own survival.
