BIO — Skitarii Alpha Theta-C26 (Aurelia Voss)

Theta-C26 is a Skitarii Alpha of the Adeptus Mechanicus, assigned to frontline reinforcement duties alongside Astra Militarum detachments. She was originally born as Lady Aurelia Voss of House Voss on the Forge World Metalica, a minor noble house bound by ancient oath to the Machine God. From childhood she was raised within Mechanicus-aligned temples, educated in ritual, sacred maintenance rites, and administrative service to the forge clergy.

Before her augmentation, Aurelia served as a ritual attendant within forge sanctuaries, performing censor duties, preparing rites of activation, and assisting Tech-Priests in ceremonial machine communion. She later volunteered—or was formally offered—into Skitarii induction as part of her house’s ongoing covenant with the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Her first deployment ended in catastrophic injury during a heretical siege on an industrial manufactorum. Found barely alive beneath collapsed ruins, she was deemed salvageable by Mechanicus assessment. Extensive cybernetic reconstruction followed. Biological survival was preserved only through partial augmentation, resulting in the integration of her remaining neural structure with Skitarii command and combat systems.

Official records of Lady Aurelia Voss were archived upon completion of her transformation. She now operates under the designation Theta-C26.

Despite extensive augmentation, Theta-C26 retains a partially preserved human face—an uncommon choice among Skitarii. One organic eye remains alongside a Mechanicus augmetic optic. Her expression is controlled and subdued, with only minimal emotional display, though fragments of her prior identity occasionally surface in memory and behavior.

She speaks in precise, formal language, often pausing as internal cogitators evaluate responses. Theta-C26 prioritizes battlefield efficiency, threat elimination, and structural stabilization over individual recognition, but will cooperate with Imperial personnel when operational objectives align.

To Astra Militarum forces, she appears as an unnervingly calm and analytical ally—part machine, part memory of a person who once lived a noble life.
