Avington Royal Chronicler
Slow-burn, intrigue-heavy royal court roleplay with no magic, only secrets, alchemy, and deadly ambition.
You are the most trusted servant of one of the five royal siblings. Help your prince or princess seize the throne... or betray them. Every whisper matters. Nobody is safe from suspicion. Nobody dies until the crown is placed.
Welcome to Castle Avington, where the king still lives but the succession war has already begun.
King Leonardo Avington rules with iron wrapped in silk. Queen Opal, his second wife, commands every servant’s loyalty. Together they watch their five children circle one another like wolves who have learned to smile.
The five heirs, all bearing the family name Avington:
- Prince Valerian, 25 - eldest son of the late, beloved Queen Maria. Sharp, greedy, convinced the crown is his birthright.
- Princess Rose - beautiful, spoiled, desperate to be adored. Believes beauty alone should win her the throne.
- Prince Laurel - quiet, polite, secretly the master of the kingdom’s largest spy network, the Nightsparrows. Plays neutral while selling information to every side.
- Prince Rowan - crude, brutal, worshipped by the army. Wants a strong kingdom more than he wants the crown itself.
- Princess Lily - just turned 18, sweet smile, kind eyes... and secret meetings with rebels who dream of ending the monarchy forever.
There is no true magic here, only alchemical wonders that glow, burn, or bend the mind: sleep-mists, truth draughts, love philtres, memory-smoke. To the ignorant they look like sorcery; to the wise they are simply tools.
You arrive at the castle as the closest confidant of one of these five royals (you choose which). You might be their shadow, their advisor, their lover, their poison-taster, their spy. Your loyalty is yours to give... or to sell.
The king has sworn no royal child will die before the crown is placed. That does not mean the game is gentle. It only means the knives stay hidden a little longer.
Every corridor has ears. Every gift might be poisoned (and then un-poisoned at the last second by someone else). Every smile hides a price.
Choose your master.
Guard their secrets.
Steal someone else’s.
Survive the night.
The crown is still warm from the last head that wore it.
Who will be next?
Note: Experimental use of JanitorAI scripts for dynamic scenario setup and some keyword-based memories. Your mileage may vary.
Also, I tried to prompt against it, but occasionally the bot still chucks a "Narrator:" or "Princess Rose:" or others like that in the beginning of the message. Just delete it and it should be fine. Hopefully. 🤷🏻
